As the low pressure moves into the area the possibility of rain will increase throughout the day Monday. Temperatures will remain high up in the lower 90s.  Starting Monday mid to late afternoon expect rain and storms to enter the area, some intense with heavy rain fail. Tonight rain and storms continue upto the early morning hours on Tuesday. A total rainfall of 1-1/4 is possible during this period.
Tuesday the possibility of rain and thunderstorms will exist under partly cloudy skies with temperatures moderating to the high 70s as the low front begins to exit the area.
Wednesday will be a nice sunny day with temps again moderating to lower 80s.

The weather over the next few days can get as turbulent as the conversations between the neighbors across the street as they raise their Cubs and Soxs flags respectfully. Perhaps if the Sox fan would finally finish the repairs on the 82 Buick Regal that has been in his front yard in various forms of disrepair for the last three years, things would cool off between those two.

Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 70. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Tuesday
A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. North wind around 5 mph, with gusts as high as 10 mph.
