A low pressure area will park itself in the region over the next three days, bringing unstable weather to the area.

Today is going to be mostly overcast with a high 87, 84 near the lake and 90 inland. Rain and thunderstorms this morning and afternoon.  The wind will be out of the east at a calm 5 mph.

Tonight, rain and thunderstorms likely. Temperature of 71. Winds out of the east at 5 mph.

Sunday a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Heat index values as high as 96. South wind around 5 mph.

Sunday night a30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. South wind around 5 mph.

Monday a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

Put away the watering apparatus and turn of the built in sprinkling systems for a few days. You won’t need it. The rain will be coming and going almost as often as your 88 year old Uncle Stan gets up at night.

Plan some indoor activities this weekend. Or at least be close to shelter.
