SaturdayMarch31

A strong cold front will approach from the west late tonight, with an area of rain showers ahead of the front lasting a few hours or so in any given location, ending in the afternoon hours on Saturday from west to east. Strong southwest winds will peak just ahead of the front from the morning into the early afternoon. Gusts could be up to 45 mph at times. Temperatures will quickly drop from the low 50s in many areas early Saturday afternoon to the 30s to around 40 by early evening. Temperatures will further plummet Saturday night, setting the stage for winter-like chill on Easter Sunday, though it will be partly cloudy with lighter winds.

A cold Easter ahead. Bundle up as you head out for those Easter Egg Hunts. Once again we suggest you enjoy the sun and the look of green grass because the week ahead holds some surprises. Starting Monday night with rain and ending Wednesday with a chance of….can you guess it?…..Yes there is nothing better than a early spring snow.

As is with every Easter, the stores have come up short on Cadbury Eggs and chocolate bunnies. No… most of these tasty treats will not end up in the hands of the little ones who so eagerly await them but in the hands of grown adults who scoop these chocolate morsels up in mass quantities. Our minds eye can only envision the horrid scene. Episodes of Stranger Things or the Ozarks cast a erie hue over partially dismembered chocolate bunnies and dispensed wrappers from eggs with a creamy center littering the family room floor like fresh snow. As you shutter at the thought, you say “Wait Easter only comes once a year”. As that thought echos in your mind it is quickly replaced by chocolate emblems from Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yes there truly is no end to this savage consumption of chocolate figures. With that we say to you adieu as we wish all a Happy Easter and/or Passover.
