Breezy and more wintry conditions return Monday, with it continuing through Tuesday. Accumulating snow is possible especially north of I-88. Dry conditions return midweek and cooler air stays through Thursday.
We failed to issue a CLC warning yesterday. Although the forecast had no real threat of inclement weather that could restrict travel, there was an element that caused great CLC (Checkout Line Congestion), the first day of Indiana Sunday liquor sales in 100 years. We are not sure it is worth creating a whole new category for the dreaded CLC, however we will keep on eye on future Sundays to see if the legalization of liquor has on impact on checkout lines. Yesterday it did.
During our travels to the grocery store for other merchandise, we witnessed a  little guy taking up space in the beer and wine isle with his own video crew recording the purchase of a six pack of Bud Light. This caused other shoppers much annoyance. The others, obviously upset with the man yelled “Hey pal get a flippin life” as they passed by.  We suspect that the six pack was being purchased as a relic and not for consumption purposes. We deducted that this same man will take out this very same six pack 40 years from now to show off his historic treasure to his grandkids and possibly great grandkids as both mutter the words “yea whatever gramps” under their breath.
