National Weather Service

Wednesdayfeb28

Scattered showers are expected across the area overnight through Wednesday. Rain will then spread across the area Wednesday night into Thursday. Some of this rain will likely change over to wet snow during the morning close to the Wisconsin state line. Gusty north winds will also accompany the precipitation on Thursday.

Some of those waterways still have not recovered from the heavy rains and melting snows. Becausious around the area that were closed a week ago. We could see flooded roadways and bridges once again.

Mother nature has once again teased us with some extremely nice weather. Now it’s back to the norm. Nothing out of the ordinary….rains changing to snow into Thursday. We don’t think there will be a cause to stoke up the snowblowers yet. However we are in for a nice weekend with the sun and moderate temperatures. So look for that after the rain and snow.

For those of you who stand ready to raid the grocery stores, you do what you do regardless of our forecasts. Although this forecast should appeal to the more logically minded HHHH (Hostess Ho Ho Hoarder) if there is such a thing. So we will not be issuing a CTC (Checkout Line Congestion) at this time. One would think that we would get an early warning of the HHHH migration patterns during one of these occurrences, however the DOJ will not permit us to access the ankle bracelet  tracking systems. We have not yet come up with an argument for tracking those wearing ankle tracking devices for the purposes of an early CTC warning.
