thursday1

Thursday morning an Arctic cold front will blast through the area resulting in nearly steady or slowly falling temperatures in its wake on Thursday. Gusty northwest winds are expected behind the front, which should send wind chill temps falling to the single digits above zero south of I-80 by late afternoon and single digits below zero north of I-80 by late Thursday afternoon.
Although the actual temperature can be labeled cold at 5 degrees, when coupled with winds that can obtain speeds of 35 mph or better, the windchill reach a dangerous level. So we are pulling out the Randy Advisory just for Thursday night.
For those of you who have hair pieces, you really should check that action at the Men’s Hair Club because anything on that crome dome that is not secured is going to get blown off. For those of you who like to wear the John Deere baseball caps or the Bud Light, you better wrap some duct tape around that stuff because once these winds get under that tattered bent up bill, we’re talking “flight H123 you are clear for takeoff”. So do you sense that it might be windy today? Do we need to stick figure this one for you? We know our social media feeds are going to blow up today with warnings of wind and cold, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.
