Friday19

Temperatures will be above normal Friday through Monday, melting what’s left of the snow cover over the area. It will be breezy on Friday afternoon and night. A storm system will affect the region Sunday through Monday, with fog and light rain or drizzle initially starting Saturday night and then periods of rain and breezy conditions late Sunday night through Monday. Before the precipitation ends Monday night, it should mix with and then change to light snow or flurries.
I’m thinking maybe even a 50 top off on Sunday or Monday. It’s extremely possible with the warm air moving in, and we are not talking about that generated by lawyers and politicians. Talking about warm air generated by lawyers and politicians. Just think if we were to harness that stuff in a dome or storage tanks. First, the volume/capacity of said tanks or dome would have to be enough to handle the volume coming from the source. Seriously people, this could give global warming a whole new meaning. We would be tasked with the ensuing  noise pollution but just think about it. Jimmy Buffett singing 24/7 with an average temperature of 85 degrees…. So what, you can put up with the meaningless mind numbing  “blah blah blah blah” that’s what those ear buds are for.
So you have been looking for an excuse to go see Aunt Bethany and Uncle Lewis but were afraid of getting stranded by a blizzard. This would be the weekend to do it. I’ve included a national map to give you an idea what’s coming your way. The midwest should be moderate temperatures with the only precipitation coming in the form of rain or a light wintry mix on Sunday and Monday.  A bit windy today and Monday of next week.
Don’t forget to pick up Uncle Lewis’s stogies on your way.
